Bijoux is the brain-child of Dr Elisabeth Dancey and has taken several years from locating the site to its opening in April this year. Why Bijoux? Bijoux, is French for “Jewels” and the name reminds us that we are all special, precious and unique. A jewel starts from a lump of rock, sometimes its beauty is evident, sometimes not, but with the right treatment it can shine and be turned into something of awe and beauty; something to be proud of. We too have the capacity to show our inner beauty. Sometimes we just need the right artist, the person with the right eye and the right training to bring out the best in us.
