No Metal Braces

My experience with Invisalign began when I decided to do something about the gap between my upper front teeth, which had bothered me since my teens. The course with Forma lasted for about a year and the finished result is the best testimony I can give to Dr Raj Kumar’s care and expertise. Now other people complement me for my teeth and they make me feel so much more confident and attractive. Many practitioners offer free consultations and in the beginning I took advantage of this to get several opinions. Invisalign was recommended to me across the board as a method which could close my gap in a non-invasive way, shaving only a fraction of a millimetre of enamel from a few teeth. I opted for Forma in the end because Raj made a better study of my teeth than the other people I visited and was the best communicator. At our first meeting he listened to me attentively and wrote down what I had to say. He did not suggest ways of doing the job quickly at a lower cost and I considered this to be the sign of somebody who does not compromise the standard of his work. He monitored my teeth during the process and made adjustments as necessary. Having previously been advised against veneers due to the severe crowding of my teeth, I started researching alternative methods of smile makeovers and came across Invisalign. A quick research later, I came across Forma86 and another Clinic X and booked myself in for free consultations. My appointment with Forma86 was arranged via email whilst the other Clinic X was arranged over the telephone where the receptionist took down my credit card details to confirm my booking which I thought was a little odd. My consultation with Raj was very friendly and professional as he took several photos at various angles of my teeth. The consultation lasted quite a while as after taking the photos, Raj uploaded them onto his computer, discussed the severity of my teeth and then explained how Invisalign could help me. He then showed me multiple videos, scans and photos of his other cases which made me feel a lot better about having severely crowded teeth. It also gave me the confidence and assurance that he knew exactly what he was talking about and that he wasn't just going to rush through the process. My appointment with the other Clinic X however was a different story. Whilst the fixed price of £1300 was attractive, the consultation took less than 5 minutes where Dr TA instantly concluded that my teeth were not suitable for Invisalign and that instead I should have 2 teeth removed and have metal braces. The reason I chose Invisalign was so that I would not have to have metal braces. Neither did I want to have any teeth pulled out, never mind 2! By the end of my appointment with the other Clinic, my mind was made up and I'm now waiting to hear back from Forma86 to view the Invisalign video for my smile makeover. I can't wait!

raj is the best....im so glad i came down from nottingham to see this guy...he really knows his stuff and his experience really shows...if u are going to go the invisalign route...dont bother with any one else...im very happy with my ongoing invisalign treatment....
